To all students,
As of now, the enrollment durations for each course has been removed.
Previously, you may have noticed an announcement upon enrolling in a course that told you the number of days in which you would be enrolled for the course. This actually gave you a deadline to finish the courses. Some of you have written expressing the desire to have more time to finish the courses.
Originally, this deadline was implemented in order to unenroll students who became inactive. However, I now realize there is a separate function that will unenroll inactive students after a certain time period while allowing the active students an unlimited amount of time to finish their courses. This option has been chosen.
In summation:
- Active students now have an unlimited amount of time to finish their courses.
- Students who are inactive in a course for 120 consecutive days will be unenrolled from the course.
- There is no need to contact us further to request extra time in a course, unless you have been unenrolled from a course due to 120 consecutive days of inactivity.
- All students that are currently participating in a course and have not yet received their certificate in the course have had their original enrollment durations changed to unlimited.
I apologize for any inconvenience the past method has caused. I appreciate any patience you can give me as sometimes things like this are caused by my inexperience and/or ignorance.
